UCOMM Media Group is excited to announce that the Communications Workers of America Local 1298 is now a client. Local 1298 consists of over 3,300 members and has bargained union contracts with Frontier Communications, AT&T, and AT&T Mobility in Connecticut, Massachusetts & Rhode Island, as well as Computer Sciences Corporation, YP LLC, Unite HERE Alliance, and T-Mobile. UCOMM is eager to work with CWA 1298 to assist them in improving their already pre-existing communications structure with a modern and crisp mobile-friendly website, a professional monthly e-newsletter, and union-wide text messages. Local 1298 is our first client in New England, based in Hamden Connecticut. This large multistate local union has members in 3 states and when we were retained, we immediately took a few days and traveled some of their jurisdiction building their image library. "We instantly knew that this local was a good fit because of how quickly they moved getting us everything we needed to begin the process of building effective and efficient internal union communications," says Kris LaGrange.
