Three UCOMM clients are running 30 second radio ads this holiday season on 2 Long Island radio stations with 490,000 listeners. These ads are not just your typical Happy Holiday greeting, they are ads written specifically for the client promoting not only their true altruistic nature, but promoting their cause as well.

In addition to wishing their members and all working people a safe and happy holiday season, the radio ad for Local 259 of the UAW reminds people to "take care of your vehicle so your vehicle can take care of your family." The ad for CWA Local 1104 reminds us all that with recent layoffs, the holidays are a tough time for many this year so "reach deep and give to charity because every kid deserves a present on Christmas". Stony Brook Hockey's ad thanks their fans for the toys they donated at their recent toy drive and wishes "all the brave kids at Stony Brook Hospital a Happy Holiday."

Our ads are written to catch attention and inspire listners to analyze their very moral frabric. Kris LaGrange comments that writing ads like this "is a tactic not seldom used by marketers for for-profit clients because questioning the money making motivations of the market during the largest spending time of the season is risky for for-profit companies. But because UCOMM clients do work that inspires people to care more about their community, we found it more than appropriate to write ads that remind everyone of the true non materialistic meaning of Christmas."

The ads will be running on WBZO 103.1 FM and WMJC 94.3 FM starting December 14th through December 24th, 2009.
