Local 1108 represents the Verizon workforce in Suffolk County and AT&T Operators in NYC, and is one of the strongest politically active unions on Long Island with quick mobilization capabilities. They have an excellent charity, Adopt-A-Family, which does work for poor families during Thanksgiving, Easter and the Holiday Season.
