Client: Utility Labor Council

Representing over 15,000 IBEW Utility Workers in New York State, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Utility Labor Council of New York Electric – Gas – Steam becomes our 9^th client, and our first Labor Council. “We have much experience in utilities, having IBEW Local 1049 and Local 83 as current clients. With my background in working in and for a labor council, we are excited to apply our communications structure and process to the Utility Labor Council,” says Kris LaGrange.  We will be developing a modern website, an internal and an external professional email, with some press work for this client.

The Utility Labor Council is made up of 18 IBEW Local Unions, 2 of which are already UCOMM clients. “This client is also an exciting endeavor because we get to once again work closely with Casey Strategic Relations (CSR), a Lobby Firm based in Albany. We share CWA Local 1104 with CSR and have had some success on the legislative and communications front in the past.”

The Utility Labor Council is based in Messina, New York and is chaired by IBEW Local 2032 Business Manager Mike Malek.
